SUDDEN DEATH

OHINGAITI RESIDENT MR RICHARD RLSSELL (Own Correspondent.) OHINGAITI, Oct. 18. well-known Ohingaiti identity, Mr Richard Russell, collapsed this afternoon and died shortly afterwards. He had been staying at‘the Railway Hotel for some time, and earlier in the day complained of feeling unwell. A* 1 p.m. he spoke to Mr Duffv, who lef* him lying in his bed. About ten minutes later, Mr Duffy heard a cry. and subsequently discovered Mr Russell lying near the back door. Dr. Burnett, who was summoned from Hunterville, pronounced life extinct. The deceased vvas 63 years of age and unmarried. Relatives are believed to reside in Christchurch and Auckland. An inquest will be held to-day
