TROUBLE OVER TEMPLE TWO KILLED: MANY INJURED BOMBAY, Oct. 15. Two people were killed and 60 injured, the latter including three Brilish police officers, in rioting following an attack by Moslems on workers who were digging the foundations of an Hindu temple, which, owing to the widening of the road, is to be rebuilt nearer the mosque at Byculla. Stoning and standing of pedestrians developed in numerous other centres. Forty arrests were made.

SITUATION SERIOUS MORE RIOTING AT NIGHT BOMBAY, Oct. 15. The victims of the riots are now 13 killed and 100 injured. The latter include seven British police. Fifty arrests have been made. With nightfall the rioting was more aggressive. People were assaulted and stabbed in side streets. It is thought that the infantry may be called out. To-morrow's outlook is serious, although the leaders of the rival communities are exploring possibilities ot a compromise.
