Nash, in an interview. “My attention has been called to complaints that share hawkers are once more becoming active in the Dominion,” continued Mr. Nash, “and the Government view this development with some concern. “This country cannot afford to have its savings dissipated in useless enterprises.' That is why the Government are working out as part of a comprehensive scheme for the financial organisation of our resources a plan which will include machinery to see that capital is directed into the wisest and most economical channels so that the savings of individuals are safeguarded and the interests of the nation protected. A few hours spent in discussion with a trustworthy and exnerienced friend before subscribing, is worth many days of effort to obtain a remedv for, or procure release from an obligation which should never have been entered inf o.”
