UNION BOAT CLUB PREPARING FOR NEW SEASON ANNUAL MEETING NEXT WEEK The Union Boat Club has preparations in hand for an early start with the active work of the new season The annual general meeting of the club will be held in the boathouse 'text Wednesday evening. Indications point to a successful start with several new members signifying their intention of taking on the sport. The club is fortunate in having the finest coaching talent in the Dominion, and as a result the younger oarsment are given a thorough grounding in the various phases of the game. All members and supporters of the club are invited to attend the annual meeting, and intending members will be especially welcome. After the business of the meeting is concluded those present will be the guests of the ladies’ committee at. supper.
