Y.M.C.A. CLUB RUN AT PALMERSTON TO-DAY’S EVENT Members of the Y.M.C.A. Harrier Club will visit Palmerston North this afternoon to compete in the second leg of the first annual competition with the Palmerston North Y.M.C.A. Harrier Club. Sixteen members ot the club will be making the trip. The course will be six miles in length, comprising mostly roads with, a stiff hill to negotiate. In the first leg of the competition on August 29, the Wanganui club secured a lead ot 18 points. In to-day's run the first six men home in each team will count for points. The following members are making the trip: D. Wadey, G. Couchman, A. G. Collings, M. Church, P. Stone, C. Harper, A. Corp, D. Laing, H. Bowling. A. Chambers, P. Dawson, T. Foster, G. Bourne, J. Patterson, H. Arnold and C. Granville. These members will assemble at the Post Office at 12.30 p.m.
