STILL INCREASING

WIRELESS LICENCES IN BRITAIN [British Official Wireless] Received Sept. 17, 6.10 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 16. Latest statistics show that the number of wireless receiving licences in Britain in August was 7,744,472. The Morning Post says that saturation point formerly was believed to be about ten million, but now it is estimated to be nearer twelve million and in anticipation of the steady increase in number during the next few years a further programme of development is in prospect. Revenue from licences already amounts to £3,872,236, but if the anticipations are realised a considerable advance on this sum may be looked for in the near future.
