SCHOOL CONCERT Presented by pupils of the Nukumaru School, a much enjoyed and appredated concert programme was given in the Nukumaru Hall on 1 hursday evening. The programme, which was of a varied nature, was enthusiastically received by the large audience. All accompaniments were played by Miss Martin. Symes; ; recitation. “A Good Little Girl,” Nola Davy; action song, “Ducks,” junior )upils; recitation, “Eggshells,” Ivan larting; chorus, “Three Little Pigs”; * ecitation, “The Wedding Carpet," Margaret McKnight; song with chorus, "Home on lhe Range,” T. Travers; playette. "Mr. Fox, Mr. Wolf and Mr. Rabbit,” J. McKnight. D. Thew. P. Thew. P. McKnight: song “Little Stream.” S2 girls; chorus. “Cherry”; recitation. "Our Cat"; N. Thew; chorus. "Ladybird, Ladybird, Fly Away Home.” Dancing was the indulged in to music supplied by Mr. Bennett, Kai Lwi and supper was provided. PERSONAL Miss Bruce. Nukumaru. is spending he school holidays at Gisborne. Mr. M. Armstrong, who has been he guest of his parents, Mrs. and Miss J. Armstrong, has returned to Levin. Miss Martin is visiting Wanganui and Wellington. Mrs. L. Butterworth and Mr. and Mrs. E. McConachy, have left Waitotara to live at Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. McHardie and Miss Jean McHardie are visiting New Ply- j mouth. 1 Miss Margaret Armstrong and Mrs. < i W. Dobie motored to Palmerston i North for the school holidays. . Mr. W.
