HARRIER DANCE
SLCCESSFUL FINCTION On Saturday evening the Peter Pan Hall was lilled to capacity, when the Wanganui Harrier Club held one of their popular dances. About 200 couples danced the evening away to music supplied by the Soprani Serenades and tne guests of the evening were the Taranaki football team'. Among the dancers were: —Mesdames R. Shaw, wearing lime green frilled ta/feta, red spray and red siioes; M. Scott, blue matalasse with shoulder spray; S. L. Moses (Wellington!, ensemble frock; P.usden, pale blue and biscuit shade tunic suit; Dru Scott, floral satin, red spray: Misses M. Halkett (Taihape), black net with sequin trimming; E. McGee (Wellington), blue ring velvet relieved with pink; C. Richards, black crepe ensemble; Margaret Quarrie, red and black cocktail suit; E. Lawrence, tangerine crepe, blue spray; Ann Cheyne, green floral georgette; Bessie Sunciborn, blue matalasse with silver lame trimming; M. Sundborn, ice blue matalasse, pink spray; P. Bates, powder blue taffeta, plaid coatee; Maureen Davis, Marina blue taffeta. E. Woods, sovereign gold taffeta, Nancy McFarland, japonica crepe de chine with silver lame trimming.
