Both were born in Victoria, and Mrs. Sutton came to New Zealand 30 years ago. The marriage of Lord Waleran and Miss Betty Emsley Carr, younger daughter of Sir Emsley and Lad;. Carr, will take place at Walton-on-Ihe-Hill, London, on September If. Lord Waleran was formerly on the staff of Sir Charles Fergusson, then Governor-General of New Zealand, and he has many friends in the Dominion.
