DANGEROUS ALSATIAN

TWO PERSONS ATTACKED [Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, Aug. 14. “A dog which I am satisfied has attacked two human beings cannot be allowed to live,” said Mr. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court when evidence had been heard in the case in which William John Warden was charged with being the owner of a dangerous Alsatian dog which had attacked Montague Alfred Lucas in Hobart Street, Miramar. “The dog cannot be allowed to jeopardise the safety of human beings,” continued Mr. Mosley. “I will adjourn the case for a week or a fortnight if necessary pending the destruction of the dog. If it is destroyed I shall know what to do. If it isn’t, I shall also know how to urooceed. In that case a formal* order will have to be made.”
