DIVIDEND INCREASEE With a net profit of £26,879, which is £5863 in advance of the profit of the previous year, Berlei, Ltd., Sydney, a company manufacturing foundation garments, has raised its dividend on ordinary shares to 10 per cent., from 8 per cent. With preference dividend of 8 per cent., the distribution is £17,756. There was also paid £1696 as staff profit-sharing dividend. A sum of £7OOO has been transferred to general reserve. The balance of £426, which remains, brings the amount brought forward, £2419, to £2845. which is carried forward. The company paid 8 per cent, on ordinary shares in 1934 as in 1935. Profits in 1934 were £21,474. The company has a large interest in Berlei (N.Z.), Ltd.
