HIGHER QUOTATIONS Received Aug. 14, 9.5 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 13. The butter market is firm. Danish 126 s to 128 s per cwt. New Zealand choicest salted and unsalted, 118 s to 1395; Australian, 117 s to 118 s. The cheese market is firm. New Zealand, white 675, coloured 65s to 665. No Australian cheese is offering. Messrs Henry A. Lane and Co., Ltd., Hawera, report having received the following cabled market report from the London office:—Butter, 118 s. Market remains firm. Cheese, white 68s, coloured 655. Market firm owing to reduced supplies.
