Another attack on the Spanish fleet was made this evening when four large areoplanes from Ceuta dropped bombs around the Cervantes, Libertad, Jaime and Primeiro. A large crowd stood and watched an unprecedented battle in Gibraltar Bay. Considering the terrific fire from the warships’ anti-aircraft guns, the bombing was very accurate, but was ineffective. The aircraft returned to Ceuta safely.
