GARRISON BAND
SUNDAY NIGHT CONCERT. To-morrow evening at 8.15 p.m. it I the Majestic Theatre the Garrison j Band will present a programme of out.•standing merit. L’he playing of the band is reaching J a high standard and to-morrow’s pro- > gramme will include several brilliant numbers such as Verdi’s “Nabueca,” the “Bohemian Girl,” by Balfe, a Morceau “Switzerland,” etc. Assisting the band will be Airs. Edna Billing, N.Z.’s champion whistler, who will be heard in some of her most popular numbers. Air. W. Jordan will present a tap-duo with special lighting effects. .Mr. Peter Swan will entertain with humorous monologues and Mr. R. Davis will be heard to advantage in violin numbers. Alisses Caldwell and Hall, two rising young pianists, will please with piano duos. With such an laray of talent patrons are assured of a I most enjoyable evening 's entertain- | meat. Music at Virginia Lake. To-morrow afternoon the Garrison Band will give another of its popular afternoon programmes. Special attention has been given to the selection of ths programme and patrons visiting Virginia Lake are assured of a musical treat.
