5 A complete menagerie was filmed in > a picture that isn’t an animal picture, although it has a circus background. The picture is Joe E. Brown’s latest s First National ocmedy, “The Circus Clown,” screening to-night at the Duchess Theatre. There were used 20 elephants, 17 zebras, 15 camels, 27 lions, 22 tigers, JU monkeys and an assortment of exhibits. All in all, a real zoo! Because of Joe’s circus background and love of the tambark i circle life, all the colour and atmos- : phere of the circus world were captured in the filming.
