EVENTS AT A. AND P. SHOW A generous increase of prize-money in the two big events in tihe jumpers' competitions at the Wanganui Show in November should be welcomed by all interested iu horses. These two events are to be held cn the second day of the show, and when t'he schedule is issued it will indicate clearly the style ■which the judge will require in the respective events. A special prize is to be given for the best lady rider, another will go to the best gentleman rider, and there will also be an award for the winner of the West Coast Hunters’ Jumping Championship. The Grand Parade will be held at 2 p.m. and immediately following it will come the following events: — West Coat Hunters’ Jumping Championship (2.30 p.m-, immediately after Grand Parade). —Hunting style, at good hunting pace. £5O, second horse to receive £lO and third horse £5 out of stake money. Entry £2 10s (mem bers £1 10s). Horses to carry 12 stone. Champion and reserve champion ribbons. Hurdle, brush, hencoop, hurdle, wire, double and post-and-rail. Steeplechase Style Jump.—Alust be steeplechase pace (approximately 4 p.m.). £l5 and canteen of cutlery. Second horse to receive £8 and third horse £4 out of stake money. Entry 15s (members 10s). Champion and reserve champion ribbons. Hurdle, brush, hencoop, hurdle, wire, double- | hurdle.
