TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS Train arrangements for the Wanganui Jockey Club’s meeting on Saturday and Tuesday will enable patrons from Taranaki. Afanawatw, and Rangitikei to attend in plenty of time tor the first race, which is to start at 12 noon each day. A train will leave New Plymouth at 7.5 a.m. on Saturday, a connecting train leaving Waitara at 7 a.m. The train leaves Stratford at 8.18 and Hawera at 9 o’clock, being due to arrive at the Wnngfinui racecourse at 11.10 a.m. The return fain leaves Wanganui at 4.25 p.m. and the racecourse at 4.38 p.m., being due to arrive at New Plymouth at 854 p.m. A train from Hawera at 7.25 a.m. is due at the racecourse at 10.58 a.rn. The return train leave? the racecourse at 4.53 p.m. and is due at Haw era at 8.11 p.m The train Palmerston North leaves at 6.52 a.m. and is due at the racecourse at 10.32 a.m. The return train leaves the racecourse nt 5.9 p.m. and is due at Palmerston North at 9.7 p.m. A train leaves Afarton at 6.25 a.m. and is due nt Wanganui at 8 46. returning aftc> Iho races A return train for Taihapo connects at AFarton at 7.45 p.m. Passengers from Hunterville and Taihane may return by the Wellington-Auek/anrl express, leaving AFarton at 7.22 p.m.
