GERMAN CLAIMS FOR WOOLSTRA I [ Per Frcbs Association. | AUCKLAND, June 12. The development of Woolstra as a substitute for wool is being viewed very seriously by Australian and New Zealand representatives in Loudon, said Mr L. G. Brundahl, Leipzig Trade Fair Commissioner, who is returning to Sydnev by the Mariposa. It contained about 40 pg/ vent, woo! and t-he remainder was fibre. Extraordinary developmets had been made in Germany with its manufacture but the Germans did not wish to proceed with the manufacture of substitutes if they could place manufactured products in (air exchange for wool. At the moment thev were faced with the necessity to find world markets for their products. I he people o( Germany were now well dressed ynd happy, and there was very little unemployment.
