I Portraits in oils of Sir Truby King i and the late Sir Francis Roll wore handed over by representatives of subscribers of the pictures to the Prime Minister, as chairman of the Board of Trustees, at a representative gathering in the Art Gallery section nf the Dominion Museum and National Art Gal- , lerv to-day. •Judge Ostler handed over the picture of Sir Francis Roll to Mr. Cheviot Bell, who in turn presented it to tin gallery. Judge Blair acted on behalf of Karifane Products Society. Ltd., in handing lover the portrait of Sir Truby King. I The Rt. Hon. XT. J. Savage paid a | tribute to the work done in connection j with the Art Gailery by Mr. G. A. I Troup and thpse associated with him, and referred to the illustrious nehievr nient of the two great riP’i whom rhe pictuv's commemorate.
