SEVERE CYCLONE
e ’ TASMAN DISTURBANCE COASTAL BOAT IN TROUBLE. SYDNEY, May 24. A severe cyclonic disturbance prevailed over parts of the Tasman and reached its maximum intensity over the -week-end. The small coastal freighter, Erringhi, trading to Hawkesu bury ports, broke its tail-shaft. She signalled for assistance to-day and was taken in tow by the pilot steamer Captain Cook.
