The annual general meeting of the Marlon branch nt the Plunket Sovicty will take place on Friday. June 12, nt 8 p.m. in the Parish Hall, tlis Worship tho .Mayor (Mr. Purnell) has kindly consented to preside and an address will be given by Dr. Martin Tweed, Medical Adviser to the Council of the Society. AH subscribers and friendh are cordially invited to be present. As this will bo tho first time that Dr. Tweed has spoken in public in Marton a. large attendance is speciallv hoped for. A number of visitors from neighbouring Plunket branches have already accepted the committee’s, invitation. The hall will be warm and at th© 'close of the meeting supper will be dispensed
