DOMESTIC WORKERS
►Sir, —A few months ago there was several letters in t<ho “Chronicle” about domestic workers forming a union in Wanganui. 1 see there is a union being termed in Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, etc. Why cannot Wanganui do likewise. We are always behind other towns. We domestics in the country are far worse off than the town domestics; we cannot get a day off. I shall be pleased to see an advertisement in the “Chronicle” carling all domestics to a meeting to be held in Wanganui like they ha\e done in Wellington.—l am, etc.. • ‘ COOK. ’ ’ ALangamahu;
