Mr Justice Page, Wellington, is a guest at the Rutland Hold. Mr R. J. Rankin, of Sydney, is a visitor to Wanganui. He is staying at the Grand Hotel. Messrs A. J. Wllluhils, H. Parker, aud P. Robber are English visitors to the city and are guests at the Grand Hotel. Archdeacon W. Bullock, of Wellington, and Messrs. A. I’. AlcMurtue (Wanganui), R. Gregory (Auckland), and F. King (Nanier) were welcomed as visitors at yesterday’s luncheon of the Wanganui Rotary Club. Congratulations on the celebration uf his go.den wedding were exfended ‘o Rotarian U. W. Poynter and Airs. Pdynter at yesterday’s luncheon or the Wanganui Rotary Club. Cheers -were given lor both Mr. and Mrs. Poynter. Mr D. S. A. Weir, whu has recently received the appointment of stock adviser to the Falkland Islands Administration, has been spending a few days in Wanganui as the guest of Mr and Mrs A. J. Parris. Mr Weir has tteen studying wo-ul research methods in vogue at Marscy College and. inspecting a number of leading Romney studs with a. view advising their suitability for tne Falkland Islands.
