NARROW ESCAPE FROM DEATH Received Mav 10. 11.30 p.m. SYDNEY, May’ 10. Miss Eileen Winsome Crabbe, aged about 35, disappeared from her home at Cullaroy, north of iManley, six weeks ago. An intensive search proved resultlesA and relatives feared she had met- her death. A youth to (lay. wandering in the bush in the vicinity of. Narlabeen Lake, three miles beyond Cullaroy, saw what he thought was the body of a woman on the bunk of the lake. He reported the mailer to the police, who found the woman still alive but tcrr'biv emaciated and her clothes ic. tatters. She was unable to account for her movements. It. is reported she is a former Now Zealander.
