THE GERMAN ELECTIONS HIGH PERCENTAGE OF SPOILED PAPERS NAZI LEADERS ALARMED [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] LONDON, May 7. The Morning Post’s special Be-rlin correspondent says that the extent to which the German plebiscite was “cooked” is at last becoming known. Spoiled papers amounted to at least 37 per cent., reaching 50 per eent. in Berlin. The verdict is all the more striking in view of the fact that the ballot was only nominally secret and it alarmed Nazi leaders.
