LORD SOMERS CHOSEN. LONDON, May 6. Lord Somers has been chosen as president of the M.C.C. Lord Somers, who is Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire, was Governor of Vic to ria from 1926 till 1931, and Acting Governor-General of Australia m 1930-31.
