FEW BILLS THIS SESSION [ Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, May 5. There will bp only one cr two local Government Bills this session, a much lower number than usual. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon. W. E. Parry) stated to-dav that the local governing bodies understood before the opening of Parliament that in the present session several Bills of national importance would hold the attention of members, and they had been very considerate in their requests for legislation. “There are, of course,” said Mr Parry, <f measures of interest to local bodies which could be brought forward, but it is considered that thev should be deferred. There is quite an array of Bills before the House at the present time which will keep members full y o rt' 11 pi nd.
