SUPREME COURT
AUCKLAND SESSIONS [ Per Preae Association. ] AUCKLAND, May 5. “I am happy to say that the number of bills for consideration are relatively small,” said Air Justice Fair, addressing the Grand Jury at the opening of the criminal sessions at tfiu Supreme Court this morning. ”Unfortunately,” said His Honor, “six out of the twelve cases on the calendar are related to charges of sexual offences, one charge of theft, one of theft from the person, one of assault causing bodily harm, one of negligent driving causing death, one of burglary, and finally a case of plural voting. A curious feature of the charge of assault causing bodily harm was that the man whose neck had been broken had recovered and was *charged with assaulting another man and breaking his jaw.
