Arrival of Rowing Crew.
The Otago representatives for the intexprovincial eigat-oar championship arrived in Wanganui yesterday afteinoon by the Wellington-New Plymouth express. They were met at the railway station by the president of the Wanganui Rowing Association, Mr T. H. James, the secretary, Mr. A. Webster, and members of ih 3 executive committee. The crew had a spin on the river about 5 p.m. in tht Aramoho boat, and shaped very we’l in the strange boat, their own craft being rc f due to arrive till late to-nigbt. The visitors were the guests of the Piaza Theatre management last night.
