PRESENTATION TO MR. VEITCH
presentation to Mr. and Airs. Veiteh of a memorial for their public work was a happy inspiration. To have held the confidence of the publie of Wanganui for 24 years is a feat of no mean order, and merited the presentation being made. It is also a credit to the spirit of our public life, that after Mr. \ eiteh s tenure of office as member for Wanganui had been terminated, all sections and people of various opinions can join together to felicitate with two citizens who have given the best years of their lives to public welfare and work.
