BREACH OF AWARD ALLEGED. 1 iie Inspector ui Awards proceeded against the licensee of the Criterion Hotel, Rhimes, in the Magistrate’s 1 uurt, before Air. J. H. Salmon. S.M.. yesterday, for allegedly failing to pay the corrs-ct wage to a female employee. Mr. C. I'. Treadwell, who appeared tor defendant, explained that the com plaint originated through au employee washing dishes. The work was undertaken without the authority of defendant and was done to oblige another employee whose duty it was to do this work. Ihe i*.aim was not sustained.
