UNEMPLOYMENT TAX
NO IMMEDIATE INCREASE MINISTER S STATEMENT WELLINGTON, Maroh 16. The Hon. JH. T. Anustroug stated today that tha Government uoe« nut immediately intend to increase the unemployment tax. He hoped that public works would give substantial reuef to the unemployment fund shortly, but not before the session opened. He hoped to make an announcement vegarding an increase in sustenance rates.
