Punairangiri (chief of the Raakawa tribe*, Te Ue Nuku Rene (chief of the Gati-toa tribe*. Wi Tako (chief of the Te Atiawa tribe*. Te Hurinui (Mr. P. 11. Jones t, chief of frhe Waikato and Maniapoto tribes) who acted as interpreter.
