DANCE STUDIO REUNION

The Vivienne Healy Studio presented a gay and happy scene on Saturday evening, when a reunion or past pupils was held in conjunction witn the reopening of the baliroom class. The studio was newly decorated for the occasion in coronation red with touches of black and bright silver stars. Miss Vivienne Healy (M.N.A.T.D., A1.K.A.0.D.) demonstrated the latest step and in a happy little speech welcomed the many pupils of the past live years back to the studio. The Monte Carlo was won by Miss Kaveney and Mr. J. Couil. The spot waltz was wou by Miss King (Auckland) and Mr. Sereonibe. Miss Myrtle Pedley and Miss Betty Wallace were presented with, bouquets of carnations for their past successes in dancing competitions. Mr. Jimmie Deere very capably carried out the duties of M.U. Mrs. G. Healy, in a wine ensemble, was chaperone for the many young people present. Miss Vivienne Healy received her pupils wearing midnight blue moire taffetas with ruby red shoes and wearing a corsage of red roses.
