CEREMONY AT TAUMAKUNUI ! [ Ter Press Association. ] TAUMARUNUI, March. 16. A. wedding of unusual interest was solemnised at Christ Church, Taumarunui, this afternoon, when Gwenda Marion Smith, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Roscoe Smith, of Patunga, Taumarunui, was married to Henry Mac Kay Brown, of Auckland a member of the 1935 All Blick team. The bridesmaids were Miss Kathleen Mears, of Hamilton, and Miss Peggy Smith, the bride’s sister. The best man was Mr. P. D. Smith, of Taumarunui, and the groomsman Mi. L. G. Smith, the bride’s brother. The church and grounds overflowed with interested spectators.
