LADIES’ AUXILIAiv.. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of th-c Ladies’ Auxiliary, Y.M.C.A., was held recently, Mrs. Hair presiding. Three new members were welcomed. The election of officers for the com ing year resulted:—President, Mrs. Hair; vice-presidents, Mcsdaines Bond, McDougall, Simpson and Mii-s Dnirs; secretary, Mrs. Pollock; treasurer, Mrs. Howling. A letter was read from the Makirikiri Sports Committee granting the ladies’ auxiliary the sole rights of the catering at their annual sports on March 21. Mr. Beaven (president of the local Y.M.C.A.) briefly addressed the ladies and introduced Mr. Allen, a new member of the board. Also present were Messrs. McMillan, Rennie, Mitchie, L. Cross (general secretary). A very enjoyable tea was served, Mrs. Hair returning a vote of thanks to the Ladies who had helped. (Continued on Page 10)
