Mrs. E. Everett is a Wanganui visitor to Auckland. Miss 0. Coffey, of Wanganui, is visiting friends in tQie King Country. Mr. and Mrs. R. Gaston, Upper Ararnoho, with their daughter left by the Raugitiki this week for England, and will visit Scotland. Mr. and Mrs. AV. J. Gilbcrd were Wanganui visitors to Wellington this week. Mrs. F. J. Christensen, Marton, paid a visit to Wellington' this week. Mrs. R. Turner, Dunedin, is visiting Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Cuthbertson, St. John’s Hill, are at present staying at Turan gi. Miss Jean Treadwell, Liverpool •Street, left this week on a trip to England. She was a passenger on tne Rangitiki which sailed on Thursday. Mrs. P. Lewis and her sister, Mn=. N. Abbott, of Sydney, vzho have been spending several weeks in Rotorua and Auckland, have returned to Wanganui. Miss 1). Gillman, who has been visiting Auckland for the National Show, is spending a few days ,in Hamilton before returning to Wanganui. Miss M. Samcon, Campbell Street, leaves during the week-end for Wellington, en route to the South Island. She will spend some time at Sumner, Christchurch, then go on to Hamner and later to Dunedin on an extended visit. Airs. F. White, of Christchurch, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Halligan, Cumbrae Place, has returned south. During her in Wanganui several bridge parties were given for Mrs. AVhite, among the hostesses being Mesdamos AV. J. Stone, AVainwright, J. H. Hill and Trcloa r.
