BURNED TO DEATH
MOTHER AND CHILDREN TRAGEDY IN LANCASHIRE LONDON, Jan. 13. A mother and eight children, their ages ranging from one year to 13 years, were burned to death in a miner’s wooden cottage at Tyldesley, Lancashire. The father, Adam Tyrer, jumped from a window to obtain help, but the flames spread amazingly and overcame the mother who was trying to throw the children from a window.
