RECORD OUTPUT IN 1935 [ British Official WireiM*. 1 Received Jan. J 4, 6.20 p.m. RUGBY, Jan. 14. There was a record production of steel in Britain during 1935. The output was 9.842,400 tons, compared with 8,860,000 tons in 1934, and the previous highest annual output was 9,716,000 tone, established in 1917. Production of pig iron in 1935 was 6,426,400 tons, compared with 5,979,000 tons in 1934.
