EFFORTS AT RELIEF. MISSION TO AMERICA. [ British Official Wireless. ] RUGBY, Jan. 10. Sir Herbert Samuel, Lord Bearsted and Mr. Simon Marks, who will sail for New York on January 15 in connection with the question of Jews in Germany, state that the object of their mission is exploratory. The delegation v.ill seek and take counsel with all sections of those interested in the United (States with a view to the preparation ■'•f a scheme to promote the migration lof Jews from Germany and assist the ■emigrants to start enterprises and find • occupations in their new homes. I It is intended to formulate a definite : scheme after consultation with various Jewish bodies not only in America but also in Palestine and elsewhere. It is I added that any scheme for these objects 'will clearly require the raising of a ’ Large sum.
