CALF CLUB COMPETITION. JUDGING AT OIiANGIPONGO. Further judging in connection with the calf club competitions was carried out at Orangipongo School on Friday November 22, where Mr. Mason accompanied by Mr. Calder, agriculture instructor, visited the school. Mr. Mason gave an instructive talk on calf rearing illustrating his remarks by demonstration on the winning exhibits. Mr. C. E. S. Smith, chairman of the school committee, thanked the visitors for the interest shown, and in reply both Mr. Mason and Mr. Calder made complementary reference, both to the number of entries and on the pleasing state of the school environment.
