AUSTRALIA AND N.Z. INCREASED PURCHASES TOKIO, Nov. 29. Mr. Katsuji Debuchi, the good-will envoy to Australia and New Zealand, said it was expected, that Japan would buy over 800,000 bales of Australian wool this season, instead of 700,000 hitherto. She was also likely to double her purchases from New Zealand. He pointed out that Australian purchases of Japanese goods were steadily increasing, and said that business relations could not be brighter.
