HOUSE MEETS ON TUESDAY ADDRESS-IN-REPLY DEBATE [ British Official Wireless. ] RUGBY, Nov. 28. i The swearing-in of members of both Houses was continued to-day. ■ In the House of Commons the debate | on the Address-in-Reply to the King’s J -Speech, which will begin on Tuesday after the State opening of Parliament by His Majesty, is expected to last for I the rest of the week. The opinion in political circles is that the Government will not proceed with major measures before Christmas. A certain amount of business brought forward from the last Parliament calls for immediate attention. The King has approved the appointments of under-secretaries, which completes the reconstruction which the Prime Minister has at present decided to make in the Government. Tho appointments represent a rearrangement of officers among the present holders, excent that Colonel Colville, Secretary to the Department of Overseas Trade, takes the post of Under-Secretary for | Scotland, vacated by the death of Mr. Noel Skelton, a.i l Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd, •formerly parliamentary private secre[tary to Mr. BaMwin, is a newcomer to ,the Ministry as Under-Secretary for Home Affairs, in place of Captain Euan Wallace, who has gone to the Department of Overseas Trade. Hacking has been appointed Under-Secretary for the Dominions; Lord Stanley, Parliamentary Fnancial Secretary to the Admiralty, and Mr. Euan Wallace Secretary to the Department of Overseas Trade.
