GARDEN PARTY
ST. MARY’S CONVENT A garden party wiii be held in the beautiful grounds of St. Mary’s Convent, Grey Street, to-day, Saturday. A diversified programme to suit all tastes has been arranged and will include baby competitions (two classes), drills, marches and side-shows. There will be several well-stocked stalls, including produce, cakes, sweets, icecream, etc. The Garrison Band will be in attendance. The grounds and stalls will be open from 10 o’clock this morning. The programme is as follows: 2.30 p.m.: St. Mary’s Convent pupils, grand march. 3 p.m.; Sacred Heart Convent pupils in Egyptian balance movements, quick set movements, and Indian club-swing-ing. M 3.30 p.m.: Marist Brothers’ Schoo! pupilsf inarching and physical Trill exercises.
