ALL BLACKS’ MATCHES
LACK OF PUBLICITY SOCCER DOMINATING GAME During the course of an interview yesterday, Mr. John Ashwell, of St. John’s Hill, who has just returned to Wanganui from a visit to England, Scotland and Wales, said he witnessed the match between Midland Counties and the All Blacks at Coventry. Mr. Ashwell commented on the lack of publicity in the London Press in regard to the' All Blacks. Soccer was the dominating game and much space was devoted to its matches in the sports edition. Reports of the All Blacks’ matches were crowded into small spaces.
