RANGITIKEI’S NEW MEMBER The Rangitike’i electorate’s new member of Parliament, Mr. Ormond Wilson, is a son of Air. and Airs. G. Hamish Wilson, of Bulls. Both of his grandfathers were members of the House of Representatives, the late Bir James Wilson representing Rangitikei for .15 years, and the late Hon. J. D. Ormond, of Hawke’s Bay, sitting in the Legislative Council after serving in the House of Representatives. Air. Ormond 'Wilson is 28 years of age. He was educated at Christ’s College, Christchurch, and continued his education at Lilcoln College, Oxford, where he obtained his B.A. and qualified in modern Greats for the Al.A.*"3egree. Air. Wilson is a farmer by occupation and farms portion of “Ngaio,” the station of the ]ate Sir James Wilson, near Bulls. Air. Wilsun joined the Labour Party while an undergraduate at Oxford University.
