LUCKY FOR WALKER BOUT AT PALMERSTON NORTH WONG BUK CHEUNG CONTES'? [ Per Preßß Association. 1 PALMERSTON N., Nov. 28. In an interesting bout which concluded in tfie seventh round George Walker defeated Wong Buk Cheung by two falls to one, but the deciding fall was lucky for XValker for had the referee been alive to what had gone earlier he might have awarded it to Cheung. The referee was dazed with a knock during a mix-up and was lying prone when Cheung was trying for his body press. Meantime Walker was able to regain the upper position to complete the round.
