The election of four members to represent the Maori race in Parliament took place to-day, and io the three electorates where the latest returns placed the issue beyond doubt the three sitting members were relumed. These comprised two. National Government candidates and one representing the Katana faction. In Western Maori the issue is in doubt with five votes separating Haarr.i Katana and Taite Te Tomo.
