LITTLE HOPE OF MISSIONARY'S RELEASE BIGGER RANSOM DEMANDED Received Aug. 30, 11.55 p.m. PEKING, Aug. 30; The latest report from the region of the “Red Bandits,” unjler the notc-ri ous Holung, who is holding Alissionary Hayman in Hunan, provided dim hopes of his early release, as the bandits, apparently flushed with the success ot their recent drive’ towards Changtcn, when they captured the cities of Shihman and Tzcli, are now demanding a, greatly increased ransom over what they previously agreed to accept, states the British Embassy.
