GENERAL NEWS. Alisses T. and A. Kreger have returned from a holiday spent in the Hawke’s Bay district. The “wind-up” evening of the ping pong was held on Tuesday evening, when there was a fair attendance of players, present. Very wintry weather was experienced throughout the district during the early part of last week. Although members of the Ski-Club welcome the falls of snow, they are not welcomed by sheep-farmers, during lambing season. Fortunately there was not so great a mortality as there was caused by a fall of snow about the same time last year.
